On the October 29 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Bill told his sons that he has a new attitude. He’s found his chill, but the viewers don’t believe it’ll last.

Key Takeaways

  • Bill claimed that he’s “chill” now.
  • Liam and Will were amused by their dad’s new attitude.
  • B&B fans sounded off on this new Bill and whether it’ll stick.

A New & Improved Bill

If you’re looking forward to the return of Dollar Bill (Don Diamont—who beamed over Lisa Yamada’s big night at the Daytime Emmys), we have some bad news for you. In Wednesday’s episode, he declared that he had turned a new leaf. He’s no longer going to lose his cool around anyone.

Rather, he’s found his chill. Bill spoke to Will (Crew Morrow) and Liam (Scott Clifton) at Spencer Publications. A female staff member named Cassie (Amy Yasbeck) entered the office. Bill chided her for not closing the Harlan deal.

But then, he adds, “Don’t worry about it. It’s chill.” Liam and Will watched Bill interact with Cassie. Once she left the office, they applauded their father. Bill told his sons that what happened to Liam made him realize there are more important things in life than wealth, power, and success. Will and Liam hugged their father.

Will it Stick?

Over on one soap opera message board, B&B fans sounded off on Bill’s new attitude. Most were disappointed that this scene suggested he was going soft. Other fans didn’t buy his new attitude.

The original poster declared, “This scene with Bill playing nice boss with an employee while the Spencer boys look on approvingly and clapping and praising him for his kindness and empathy came across to me as forced and phony.”

One person wrote, “It’s so laughable. Bill practically has to force himself to say these words, lol.” Someone else commented, “It was pretty absurd. This scene made me really miss Wyatt.”

Sadly, Wyatt left B&B in January 2024. Actor Darin Brooks announced on Instagram at the time that he was ready for a change after taking on the role for 10 years. But he’s leaving the door open for a return.
