Diamond White has an exciting project.
Though she hasn’t been seen on The Bold and the Beautiful since the fashion showdown between Eric and Ridge, Diamond White has remained as busy as she ever was — but instead of acting in front of a camera, she’s been holed up in a recording booth, hard at work on the second season of the beloved, Emmy award-winning animated series Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.
Per Futon Critic, the series, based on Marvel’s hit Moon Girl comic book, follows, “the adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur, whom she accidentally brings through time into present-day New York City. Equipped with Devil’s fierce loyalty and brawn, the loving support of her family and best friend Casey, Lunella sets out to make a difference and protect her Lower East Side neighborhood from danger.”
White has given voice to Lunella since Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur premiered in February 2023. (See how she responded to the unveiling of the character here.) Now comes word that the show’s second season will premiere on Friday, February 2 at 8 pm on Disney Channel and Disney XD (and will stream the next day on Disney+). On that day, two episodes will be shown, so prepare for a double dose of dyno power.
In the second season, “as Moon Girl’s Super Hero-ing intertwines more with her personal life, she must decide if the cost of keeping her identity a secret is worth the toll it takes on her family,” — a soapy premise to be sure. Check out the show’s Season 2 trailer below.
