Darin Brooks was starring on Blue State Mountain as football player Alex Moran when Kelly Kruger guested on the series. She did a turn as reporter Julia King. The two began dating, fell in love, and got married on March 21, 2016. Yep, that means the couple is celebrating seven years of wedded bliss.
“Happy 7-year anniversary to my best friend, partner & baby daddy (both human and dog),” Kruger recently posted about Darin Brooks on her Instagram account. “I can’t believe I still like you after all this time. Jokes aside, I’m the luckiest to have u as my better half. Keeping me on track, being my support, my source of laughter, the best dad to our kids and dog. Better than I could’ve ever imagined. I love you!! To another 70 of these!!!
“I really want anyone reading this to know that no relationship, marriage, person or life is perfect,” Kruger continues. “Anything good I have ever had in my life required hard work to achieve it. The same goes for marriage. It’s about showing up everyday. Working through differences, putting aside your ego, admitting when you’re wrong and doing the work. Social media shows one side but that’s never the whole story. Love stories exist. True love exists. But it only exists because there [are] 2 people willing to work at it every single day. Anyone who tells u that anything is easy is lying. Ok that’s all.
