Ronn Moss, an original cast member of The Bold and the Beautiful, is no longer playing Ridge Forrester, but he’s never stopped playing music. Cast members from the show recently reunited with the actor/singer at a concert in Bel Air, Calif.
“How lucky am I?” tweeted Sean Kanan (Deacon) from Vibrato Grill And Jazz. “Great night out seeing the legend himself [Ronn Moss] and his beautiful wife [Devin Devasquez].” Joining Kanan was his wife Michele Kanan, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), and Kimberlin Brown (Sheila). “So great seeing all of you guys!” Devasquez replied to Kanan’s post. “Thank you for coming out in this crazy weather.”
“Amazing night watching our life long friend [Ronn Moss] perform!” posted Brown. In the actress’s video, you can see other pals who attended Moss’s concert, including Lesli Kay (Felicia). “You guys are awesome,” Moss can be heard telling attendees in Brown’s video. “[It’s] good to be back in my home state.” The actor, whose family in California goes back six generations, updated folks on a new residence. “Recently, my wife and I moved to Arizona,” said the actor, who’d previously been living abroad.
Moss also shared his thanks to everybody who came out of the concert on Instagram, writing, “Thank you to everyone who came out in the rain to @vibratogrilljazz for my acoustic performance last night. It was wonderful to see so many friends I’ve not seen in a long time. And thank you to @lisacasalino @mariaelenainfantino for the duets thank you @tina_hillstrom for hosting and for the birthday cake, really love 💕 all of you! @edenalpert @kellyemberg @katherinekellylang @sean.kanan @suewongfashion @jawnstarmusic @gregorijmartin @kristos @ines_aravena @shannonleetweedsimmons @carolinecusumano @downtownjuliebrown @santarosasue @msalanataylor @lisa.garratt”
In addition to his run as Ridge on B&B, which lasted from 1987 to 2012, Moss is known for being a member of the rock band Player. The group’s big hit was the 1978 chart-topper “Baby Come Back.” After exiting B&B, Moss appeared as himself on General Hospital. He and fellow musicians performed “Baby Come Back” as part of the Nurses Ball in 2014. (Young Spencer Cassadine had hoped that the hit tune would lure Emma back into his life.)
During his run as Ridge, Moss played out the Thorne/Caroline/Ridge/Brooke quadrangle, which culminated in Ridge’s wedding to Caroline in 1990. After Caroline’s passing, Ridge began dating one of her doctors — Taylor Hayes. This set the stage for the ongoing Brooke/Taylor/Ridge triangle. That dynamic took an unexpected twist late last year when both Brooke and Taylor (Krista Allen) told Ridge (now Thorsten Kaye) that they were both saying no to him. (In the past, the story always hinged on which lucky lady Ridge would choose). To learn more about Moss’s music, you can check out his website here.
