The Bold and the Beautiful News: What Happens When Quinn Hikes With Flo

Florence’s stint as Sally’s hostage was mercifully brief in soap opera time on The Bold and the Beautiful. But in real life, the actress went on an excursion with a cast member who plays her mom’s best friend.

“First sunburn in a while,” posted Rena Sofer, who plays Quinn. “I was so excited to go hiking with @katrinakbowden I forgot about the #sunscreen #ouch #sunburn #socialdistancing #hiking 🤦🏻‍♀️.”

“Next time I go hiking with Katrina [who plays Flo]…make sure I wear sunscreen,” Sofer said in a video that showed off her sunburned back. (Ouch!)

Fans weighed in with posts of support and a home remedy or two. (Consult a physician before applying any fixes to sunburns.) As longtime BB fans recall, Sofer made the scene as Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) mother, jewelry designer Quinn Fuller, the ex-love of Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

Quinn has done some dastardly things over the years including slapping Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), pushing Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) into the Seine in Paris to keep Liam (Scott Clifton) from proposing to Hope (then-Kim Matula; now, Annika Noelle), and kidnapping Liam and letting him think he was someone else.

The latter two incidents were so that Wyatt could have a clear path to Hope or Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). On-screen, Quinn fully supports a Wyatt/Flo pairing.

In fact, Quinn’s never been a fan of Sally’s (Courtney Hope) and Sally’s recent actions — lying about dying, tying Flo to a radiator in her apartment, and trying to seduce Wyatt — won’t earn her any affection. As a fellow manipulator, Quinn might respect what Sally’s done, but she won’t like her much for it!

Currently, Quinn’s happily wed to Eric and is thrilled that her pal Shauna (Denise Richards) is sticking around. The two have known each other for a long time and are a formidable twosome! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
