Days of our Lives fans are sadly counting down the days until Galen Gering exits his role as Rafe Hernandez, but the actor is trying to keep them happy for the time being, with a peak at some fun behind-the-scenes shots.
Galen Gering Goes Behind The Scenes
On his Instagram account, the actor shared some photos and videos of a day many have been waiting for — the long-awaited wedding of star-crossed lovers Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson).
“Miss being at the studio with the @nbcdays fam,” Gering wrote. “Excited for what’s about to air and have some fun behind the scenes content with more coming soon…”
The photos show Gering with some of the production crew that makes the NBC soap run so smoothly and the videos seem to be from his downtime shooting the intense scenes.
In one, he’s throwing some paper confetti up in the air, though there’s some ominous sounds in the background; another has him sneaking up on the blushing bride, who greets him with a sweet smile.

Decked out in a dashing suit, Rafe is making good on his promise to Bo to look after his family, walking the beautiful bride down the aisle for the momentous occasion.
Since Gering noted he would share more behind-the-scenes photos and videos in the weeks ahead, fans should stay glued to his Instagram account and see what else is in store for Rafe in his final weeks in Salem.
Will he leave with past love Hope since Kristian Alfonso has also confirmed she’s leaving the show and she’s been comforting him as of late in the wake of his custody fight for David? There’s also the return of his father, Eduardo (A Martinez) that may impact Rafe’s story. Will Rafe leave town or could he end up having to try to save the life of someone he loves and possibly die in the process? Hopefully, that won’t be the case!
