Last week, Soap Hub reported that The Bold and the Beautiful legend Ronn Moss was filming a video for a new song, and the actor/singer recently posted on his Instagram that the song was released.
Called Dreaming In Color, the catchy tune is a duet between Moss and Belgium artist Ella Luna, whose album “Always a Bridesmaid, Never a Bride” is a big hit on social media.
“My newly released single is a duet with Belgium artist Ella Luna who sings beautifully in French,” Moss posted alongside a video of the song.
The song begins with Moss singing the lines, “Where is it that we’re going? Where is it we want to be? Will we still see our path when all steps wash back into the sea?”
The message of the song revolves around how the human race can “make it out in time to go from this darkness back to the light.” The chorus is an even stronger message of inspiration and hope for the future.
“Free the slaves within us. Do it without a fight. Come back to being the human race doing what we feel is right,” the duo sing together. “Where we go is where we come from. How we are is how we have been. Are we all dreaming in color or just black and white.”
Luna sings her verse beautifully in French, and then the two singers intermix in their respective languages until they both return to English to repeat the chorus.
While Moss enjoyed a quarter-century playing Ridge on BB, he left the show in 2012 to pursue other acting roles and concentrate more on his music, most notably with his band, Player. He has won three consecutive Daytime Emmys for producing digital soap The Bay on which he plays the character John Blackwell. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS.
