The Bold and the Beautiful News Update: Katherine Kelly Lang Reflects On Brooke’s Story

Viewers have already seen Eric and Brooke’s wedding in a classic re-airing recently of The Bold and the Beautiful. The episode featuring the vow exchange culminated in the honeymooners taking off in a hot air balloon in Palm Springs!

Katherine Kelly Lang Goes Behind The Scenes

Today, fans got to see the following episode in which Eric (John McCook) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) enjoy their balloon ride as man and wife. Later, they ride horses and spend their first night as man and wife in a tent in the desert.

Lang recalled the remote shoot in a recent interview with TV Insider. “I remember being up in the balloon,” the actress shares. “We were so high up! I was wondering ‘Is this okay?’ I was nervous. We could see everything, everywhere. John and I were trying to do this romantic scene. The cameraman and balloon operator were crouched down below us so they wouldn’t be seen in the shots the helicopter took. It was amazing.”

An experienced equestrian, Katherine Kelly Lang happily embraced the next leg of Brooke’s honeymoon that had the couple riding horses to a romantic destination. “John asked me how do you do this,” the actress recalls. “I was like, ‘Woo-hoo! Let go!’”

Shooting on remote has been a part of BB’s fabric since the beginning. While the show later traveled abroad to international destinations including Italy and Australia, this one kept them relatively close to home.

“It was nice going to Palm Springs,” Lang recollects. “We could drive there in a few hours. I had just had my son Jeremy [Snider; ex-Little Eric]. I still had the baby weight, but it was a really fun remote. Eric had set up a tent in the desert and that was really romantic.”
