The Bold and the Beautiful News Update: Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s More Makeup Magic

On-screen, Steffy Forrester is a single mom, fashion executive, and all-around super-woman. In real-life, The Bold and the Beautiful star, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, is pretty impressive, too. She’s even an expert makeup artist as seen in a recent social media video.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood: A New Career?

On her Instagram page, Wood demonstrated a makeup application using her pal, Ryanne, as a model. First, she applied a little primer. “It feels nice,” said Ryanne. “Okay,” joked Wood. “Um, it’s not that type of video.” Then, Wood applied a second primer — wherever she could see pores.

Next, came a foundation. “I like it because it’s build-able,” Wood said. She uses a brush because it gets into the skin. Sometimes, she uses a sponge.

Wood said she and Ryanne have known each other since they were babies and they’re both from Toronto. Next, The Bold and the Beautiful star applied a contour. “This reminds me of the time… one of your first dates… I was working in a restaurant…” Ryanne recalled.

“It was my first date ever,” Wood says. “These two fruit flies kept circling between us. Then, [Ryanne] showed up and said I’m going to be your waitress.”

Back to the tutorial, Wood next blended in the contour line. Next, she put adhesive tape under Ryanne’s eye – to give a dramatic line. This gives Wood more room to play as she takes the makeup to the next level. “I’m going to add a little highlight…” she adds.

“I definitely am an eyeliner girl,” Wood shares. She goes from the middle out. “Eyeliner can change the whole shape of your eye. I’ve done it so much I can do it anywhere. It’s muscle memory.”

In Part Two, a separate post, Wood continues putting makeup on her pal. “We were very experimental,” Wood says. “We had to look up to Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.” Check out the two Instagram posts below to follow Wood’s process more fully.
