Great news for fans of The Bold and the Beautiful. The half-hour soap is back in production according to one of the show’s stars who posted on social media a “Welcome Back” to work sign!
The Bold and The Beautiful Is Making A Comeback
“HERE. WE. GO,” Don Diamont posted, who played ‘Dollar’ Bill Spencer. “Every bit of safety protocol imaginable is in place, and @boldandbeautifulcbs is back in production!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 LET’S ROLL!!!”
Diamont’s shared a pic at the TV City Carol Burnett Artist’s Entrance, named after the legendary performer who shot her CBS variety show at the studio next door to the stage where BB tapes.
Word had leaked out last week that BB was headed back to work when Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) did a live Instagram chat with followers in which she revealed that BB was going to resume production.
Lang indicated that BB would be easing back into things slowly, taking things easy, and building up to doing more than one show a day.
As viewers saw in BB’s most recent original program in April, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) had walked into his beach house just as Sally (Courtney Hope) and Dr. Escobar (Monica Ruiz) were removing an unconscious Flo (Katrina Bowden) from the living room. (Flo had caught on to the fact that Sally is faking her fatal illness.)
No word yet on when BB will be back on the airwaves, but the stage has literally been set for fans to start seeing new episodes. There have also been no announcements as to when the three other soaps — Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless — will return to production. Currently, only DAYS is airing original programming and has enough episodes to get to October. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air dates.
