The Bold and the Beautiful News: Denise Richards Heads Back Home On Special Day

Brooke had better watch out on The Bold and the Beautiful because Shauna’s back in town! Actually, the reality is she never left, but her portrayer, Denise Richards, took off to Europe to film a new TV series, Glow & Darkness. And, now, the actress/reality star is on her way back to the States!

Denise Richards Is Ready To Celebrate

“Making my way back home,” Richards posted on Instagram along with a photo of herself wearing a mask. Based on her post, Richards is on a plane because the locale she added is…”on an airplane.” Also: “Miss my family so much,” she added, “And today is hubby & I 2 year anniversary.. ❤️.”

Richards is referring to, of course, husband Aaron Phypers, whom she wed on September 9, 2018. The following year, the former James Bond girl and reality TV star (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) joined the cast of BB as Flo’s (Katrina Bowden) mother, Shauna. Today, Shauna has landed a new husband — Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) — thanks to some fancy manipulating she performed, aided and encouraged by her longtime pal, Quinn (Rena Sofer).

“Happy 2nd Anniversary my ❤️ …. so blessed & grateful to have you as my soul mate, twin flame, partner in crime, confidant, best friend, lover, best daddy to Eloise, & our menagerie of beautiful furry misfits, best stepdad ever, most supportive of my career, I know my mom brought us together & I couldn’t imagine going through this beautiful journey with anyone other than you,” Richards wrote in another post. “I love you so much.”

There’s another description Richards can say about her husband — scene partner. Phypers has reportedly shown up for duty on BB to stand-in for Kaye for the more intimate Ridge/Shauna scenes. The show is employing real-life spouses and partners of actors to create on-screen love scenes in an effort to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
