Ashley Jones
In between making sporadic appearances as Bridget on The Bold and the Beautiful, Ashley Jones stays busy by shooting other projects. Now the actress is announcing one that also stars a familiar face from the soap opera world.
“Who’s ready to watch a thriller with the incredibly talented @emilyskinner and @alicialeighwillis (and me;)?” Jones rhetorically posted on Instagram. “Coming straight to your living room tv soon(ish). Throwing back to our last night on set🎬 working with favorite @mikefeifer. #DoubleKidnapped.”
Willis is best known to soap opera fans as the ill-fated Courtney on General Hospital; Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) sister and Spencer’s (Nicolas Bechtel) mother. The actress popped up on GH as a ghost to comfort her son in a recently aired classic episode.
A story summary for Double Kidnapped has yet to appear but going by the film’s title, it’s a safe guess that there are two kidnappings going on! Are Jones and Willis playing the characters who are kidnapped, or will Emily Skinner (of Andi Mack fame) be the one abducted? Double Kidnapped is written by Michael Perrone (of Sleeping With My Student) and directed by Michael Feifer (of My Daughter’s Psycho Friend). The film also stars Robert Pralgo (of The Vampire Diaries and Army Wives) and Sam Ashby (of Sweet Magnolias).

Jones debuted on BB in 2004 as Eric (John McCook) and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) daughter Bridget. The character’s professions include being a fashion designer and a doctor. She has a son — who has perhaps one of the coolest soap opera character names ever — Logan Knight, fathered by Owen Knight (Brandon Beemer). Time will tell if and when Logan is aged and returns to the BB canvas, and how he’ll be involved in his own stories. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
