The Bold and the Beautiful C&G News

Who’s coming and who’s going from The Bold and the Beautiful (BB)? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of our Lives fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.

The week of November 2, 2020

Diamond White debuts as Paris Buckingham, Zoe’s (Kaira Barnes) sister, on Monday, November 2. Look for the character to be heavily involved in the Zende (Delon de Metz), Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), and Zoe (Kiara Barnes) storyline mix. Diamond was last seen on the Fox hit, Empire, where she had a recurring role as Lala.

Time for another Forrester to return. Ashley Jones is heading back to the BB fold as Bridget, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Eric’s (John McCook) daughter. The actress shared the happy news on Instagram. Her first airdate is Monday, November 2.

Kelly Kruger pops back in as Eva, Forrester Creations’ international publicist, on Monday, November 2. Kruger, who portrayed Mackenzie Browning on The Young and the Restless, is also the real-life wife of B&B star Darin Brooks, who portrays Wyatt.

The Bold and the Beautiful History

BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama

It is one of four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
