The week of April 6, 2020
Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier is set to appear on the Los Angeles-based soap. Look for the magazine show co-host to portray Matt on Friday, April 10. The character is the Forrester pilot.
Frazier is no stranger to the acting world. He’s also appeared in the 2017 film Girl’s Trip, as well as the primetime series Empire (2018), Nobodies (2017) and The Millers (2014).
Monica Ruiz is back this week as Penny Escobar, Sally’s (Courtney Hope) duplicitous doctor. She’ll air on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10.
The Bold and the Beautiful History
BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
Bringing the Drama
It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
