Dan Martin and Jeremy Ray Valdez Return are returning to The Bold and the Beautiful, so does that mean someone is in a legal jam? It’s possible. According to social media, the two cops are headed back to the City of Angels!
The Bold and the Beautiful Casting News
“Love doing cop stuff with my bro, boss and The Chief… @actordanmartin on the best show around!” posted Jeremy Ray Valdez, who plays Det. Alex Sanchez on BB, on Instagram. Valdez and his character debuted on the half-hour serial almost three years ago during the Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) shooting storyline.
Det. Sanchez also investigated the case of baby Beth being kidnapped after the fact. Flo (Katrina Bowden) was on her way up the river for staying silent after learning what had happened, but Shauna (Denise Richards) convinced Ridge to intervene on her daughter’s behalf. The case against Flo didn’t continue.
Dan Martin and Jeremy Ray Valdez Return to B&B
Dan Martin, as Deputy Chief Bradley Baker, has been on the BB scene since 1997. First introduced as a lieutenant, Baker oversaw multiple cases that have involved the Forresters and the long arm of the law. What could be bringing both Det. Sanchez and Deputy Chief Baker back to the scene?
One major unsolved case is Emma’s (Nia Sioux) vehicular death from 2019. Viewers saw Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) pursuing the Forrester intern in his car after Emma learned the truth about baby Beth being alive. Might that long-standing case be getting some screen-time? Perhaps Emma’s secretly alive? Or perhaps the brain condition Thomas suffered from and was operated on successfully for (we think!) goes back further than anyone realized?
Both of those scenarios would get Thomas off the hook but might involve the police to facilitate the story. Viewers are going to have to stay tuned to find out what is bringing these two lawmen back to the BB scene. It could be this case or something else that hasn’t even happened yet! In the meantime, check out Valdez’s Instagram post below! The Bold and the Beautiful weekdays on CBS. Check your local listing for air times.
