On The Bold and the Beautiful, Henry Joseph Samiri’s character Douglas Forrester stumbles upon the show’s biggest secrets! Off-screen, Samiri has more everyday issues to worry about — like losing his baby teeth.
Henry Joseph Samiri Tells The Whole Tooth
“I don’t know what’s happening,” Samiri shrugged in an Instagram post, which can be seen below, as he pointed to a gap in his mouth where his baby front teeth used to be. “My teeth are falling out,” he shares. “I just lost another tooth.”
B&B Early Days
The young actor joined the cast of B&B in 2019 along with TV dad Matthew Atkinson who assumed the role of Thomas Forrester. Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey), Douglas’s mother, passed away off-screen, and Thomas brought Douglas home to Los Angeles to be surrounded by family.
Thomas became obsessed with ex-girlfriend Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and manipulated her feelings for Douglas into getting her to marry him. Thomas had discovered that Hope’s daughter Beth with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was really alive but he kept that news from her, fearing he’d lose her to Liam if they discovered the truth.
Henry Joseph Samiri’s Douglas Tells The Truth
Thomas intimidated Douglas into keeping quiet about Beth being alive after the youngster overheard his father talking about it. Recalling his late mother’s words to always tell the truth, Douglas informed Liam that “baby Beth is alive.” At first, Liam tried to dismiss the youngster’s proclamation, however, Douglas wouldn’t drop the issue. Eventually, Liam allowed himself to believe that Douglas was indeed telling the truth.
The storyline, which Henry Joseph Samiri played a big part of, not only shot B&B to the top spot in the coveted Women 18-49 viewing demographic among soaps, but it also earned the show the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Writing Drama Series Team in 2021.
More recently, Douglas spied Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) kissing ‘Santa’ on New Year’s Eve. Santa being, of course, her ex-lover, Deacon, wearing a holiday cap. While viewers eagerly await to see what secret Douglas will discover next, Samiri is likely looking forward to his new teeth fully growing in to take the place of his baby ones.
