On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Taylor Hayes finds herself forced to speak up on behalf of herself and sister-friend Brooke Logan to Doubting Thomases Thomas and Ridge.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
In addition, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) gave Hope (Annika Noelle) the opportunity to unburden herself and come clean about her sudden infatuation with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) only to be rebuked. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Taylor Hayes Won’t Deny Her Kinship With Brooke
The zingers were flying fast and furious betwixt Taylor, Thomas, and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), including one in which Taylor had no time to pursue a committed relationship as she was already in one courtesy of Brooke.
To that, Taylor admitted that she and Brooke were committed…to their friendship and their intention to choose said friendship and themselves over Ridge. What’s more, Taylor likes that she and Brooke have grown so close, and she insisted that their newfound kinship is based on “transparency and trust.”

Also, now that she’s no longer busy fighting Brooke for Ridge, Taylor can focus all her energies on being the best mother and grandmother that she can be. Scratch that. Make it best smother and grandsmother that she can be. After all, she’s got a lot of time to make up.
Thomas objected mightily to that opinion and swore that he and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) never held Taylor’s work-related absences against her. They understood that she wasn’t merely and frivolously traveling the world. She was helping people, and for that, they’re proud of her. In fact, they think that she’s incredible. And they never ever doubted her love for them. They always have and always will love and appreciate her.
Ridge seconded and suggested that they should establish “Taylor Hayes Appreciation Day.” Thomas happily agreed. Taylor begged off being the center of attention and turned the spotlight onto Thomas, whom she praised for his seeming transformation for the better.
B&B Recap: Fake It Till You Make It
Across the hall, Brooke tried to ascertain whether or not Hope was struggling with feelings for Thomas while Hope wondered why it was her mother so often risked it all for men whom she knew were wrong for her.
Brooke granted that she’d been asking herself the same question for years. Maybe it was the feeling that she needed more excitement in her life. Or maybe she was just self-sabotaging.
Either way, Hope has an incredible marriage to a good man, and Brooke is hoping against hope that she’s not thinking about sabotaging it for the likes of Thomas.
Hope insisted that she very much does not have feelings for Thomas — at least not in the way that Brooke is implying. “We share the same passion for my line and the same vision for Hope For The Future. That is what our relationship is. It’s about work. That is all.”
From the look on Hope’s face when she and Brooke embraced, it was clear that Hope had utterly failed to convince herself that she spoke the truth.
