Will B&B Spoilers Reveal That Bill Is Luna’s Father?

B&B spoilers have shown many times over the years that the soap is one big happy family. That family got tighter when we learned that Luna is the cousin of RJ’s brother-in-law, Finn. Might the show be looking to create another familial dynamic that will further ensconce Luna to the show’s canvas?

B&B Spoilers: Bill Is Luna’s Dad

Soap fans have been watching daytime dramas long enough to start looking for clues whenever new characters are introduced. Who are they related to? How will the show get us to like newbies? Will they tie them to existing characters? Once Bill (Don Diamont) shared an interesting scene with Poppy (Romy Park), Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) mom, viewers began speculating that he could be her dad. B&B could indeed go down this path for several good reasons.

Doctor Father

Then again, it’s a little predictable to make Bill Luna’s dad. He already has two surprise children in Liam (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks). Did Bill never use protection? Is Will the only child he’s ever going to know from birth? Luna’s dad has been established as a doctor with whom Poppy had an affair. It may stay that way.

B&B Spoilers: Daddy’s Daze

While it would be repetitive to make Bill a surprise dad yet again, it would also be congruous with his character. Bill’s a stallion. He’s made a lot of women happy. And think of the stage that would be set if Bill were revealed as Luna’s dad. It’d bring him back into Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) orbit as Luna is dating RJ (Joshua Hoffman), Brooke and Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) son. Plus, it’d potentially put a strain on Bill’s friendship with Li (Naomi Matsuda), Poppy’s sister.

Bill Spencer: Occam’s Razor

There’s a philosophical principle known as “Occam’s razor,” which states that the simplest explanation is the best one. Bill being Luna’s dad will get the character off the backburner where he’s been for entirely too long. B&B is ushering in a new generation of young lovers with RJ and Luna. Bill entering the picture and possibly objecting to RJ in his newfound daughter’s life will create some much-needed conflict.
