Bill gave up the idea of his massive tower well over a year ago but why not do it now? He has his personal life sorted out, he is spending more time with Will, and he is not losing his mind over a woman. Sure, he wants Katie but he is not going to fight or obsess over her like he was with ladies in the past.

Now could finally be the right time for Bill to do something outlandish and selfish and huge to cement his stamp on society.
