The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for September 21-15, 2020, reveal Steffy’s friends and family appalled by what they see — and desperate to help her.

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is on a downward spiral nobody really saw coming. After all, she’s a single mother career woman who can do it all. Except that maybe she can’t — and she certainly can’t do it on her own.

While a motorcycle accident introduced her to narcotic pain pills, the loneliness, anxiety, and depression she’s been feeling made them something more than just medication for back pain. Yes, they numbed her back injury, but they also numbed her feelings and that’s what Steffy needed.

She ran into a problem when her new doctor who wants to be more than a doctor figured out what’s going on and stopped prescribing them. So, Vinny (Joe LoCicero) decided to do something nice for Steffy and sent her some, but not the legal kind. And Steffy downed them.

And then she passed out with Kelly in the house and Liam (Scott Clifton) finds her like that this week and confronts her. He also lets her friends and family know what’s going on and they all try some sort of intervention with her, but Steffy is in complete denial.

Will this prompt Liam to fight for custody of Kelly? Will Finn (Tanner Novlan) back away from Steffy learning that she lied and said she was just taking over-the-counter meds? Will all of this wake Steffy up to get the right kind of help and beat this addiction? Heck, even Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope (Annika Noelle) try to reason with her.
