On the April 3 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers preview that Deacon gives an emotional tribute to his love, Sheila Carter. After much turmoil leading up to the event, Hope and Finn attend the event together. How will Deacon say goodbye to the woman he believed in against all odds? Stay tuned for a heart-wrenching day.
Today, We Gather to Honor the Life…
Anything involving Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) turns out very surprising, and we should expect nothing less from her memorial service. Many of Sheila’s targets, like Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), don’t think she deserved any formal sendoff into the afterlife. It’s clear that Deacon needs this opportunity to mourn the loss of his great love. He is also determined to pay respect to the passing of Sheila’s life, as it would be done for any other normal citizen. Deacon may not have given Sheila the marriage and wedding she so desperately wanted, but he will give her an emotional and touching tribute.
The guest list for this event will likely be small. (Others are celebrating Sheila’s death in private.) However, if Sheila were alive to see it, she would rejoice that her beloved biological son, Finn (Tanner Novlan) shows up for her. Finn makes another decision against his marriage and attends Sheila’s memorial with — of all people — Hope (Annika Noelle).
Hope Shows Support
It is a bit surprising to see Hope in attendance. She truly feared and loathed Sheila. One might guess she makes the decision to go to support her father, Deacon in his grief. She also puts her real feelings about Sheila on the back burner to support her friend and confidant, Finn. After all, Steffy does not allow Finn to show any attachment to his “real” mother. Hope understands Finn’s tie to Sheila and the loss he is experiencing.
Once the ceremony is underway, what exactly will Deacon say about the unforgettable Sheila Carter? What will he remember most about their time together? He may wistfully speak of the time he impulsively proposed to her after hours at Il Giardino. Deacon could emphasize that Sheila had reformed herself and led a good, quiet life with him. He could also wax poetic about her devotion to her family, notably Finn. If only Sheila were alive to hear such words of admiration from those she loved.
