On the April 2 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers preview that Steffy is livid when she learns of the memorial service Deacon is planning for Sheila. Deacon wants to include Finn and Hope in the event, as the Logan sisters try to discourage him from doing so. Hope shares a touching moment with Liam and their daughter, Beth. Emotions continue to run high on this B&B day.

A Controversial Tribute

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) are already experiencing tension in their marriage over her manipulative actions towards Hope (Annika Noelle). Now, Steffy finds out that Deacon (Sean Kanan) has the nerve to plan a memorial service for Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). Really? How dare Deacon pay tribute to that psychopath?! More importantly for Steffy, how dare Deacon stir up more sympathy in her husband for his deranged biological mother? Sheila’s memorial service may turn out to be another huge sticking point in Steffy and Finn’s already conflicted relationship.

Steffy’s sworn adversaries, the Logans, are also not too keen on the idea of a memorial for Sheila. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is very concerned for Hope’s well-being following her devastating breakup with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). She and her sisters Katie (Heather Tom) and Donna (Jennifer Gareis) try to convince Deacon to leave Hope and Finn out of his plans for a tribute. If Deacon feels the need to acknowledge Sheila’s death formally, they think he should do that alone.

A Family Reunion

Hope is just trying to carry on with her life — or rather, what’s left of it. She still has her career and the rest of her family to focus on in Thomas’s and Douglas’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) absence. Interestingly enough, their moving to Paris has opened up some space for Liam (Scott Clifton) to connect with Hope again. They share a sweet moment with their daughter, Beth (Jordyn Lynn Ariza), which must feel very comforting for Hope. With Thomas out of the picture, will Liam and Hope’s connection grow as their family spends more quality time together?
