The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, December 27, 2023, promise Finn assures Ridge his dad is getting better, albeit slowly. This is an episode you will not want to miss.
Eric (John McCook) is awake and breathing on his own but he still has a pretty long road to recovery. That part worries Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Will his dad ever have the quality of life he had before?
Finn (Tanner Novlan) promises Eric is on the right track, at least as far as the doc knows. His progress is slow but steady and Finn is quite pleased. Eric is coming around (it’s a Christmas miracle!), it’s just going to take time, patience, and love.
Eric is a fighter, after all. He’s not done living the good life and Finn is sure he’ll bounce back and be just fine after this is all said and done. Is this enough to put Ridge’s mind at ease? He’s questioned every decision he’s made since Eric went into the hospital. He could use some relief.

Meanwhile, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) continue their conversation about Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). Mostly, it’s Steffy warning Hope about the consequences of messing with his emotions. Thomas needs to be handled with care if they want to keep him from his dark side.
It wasn’t too long ago Thomas was “dating” a mannequin made in Hope’s image. And, it wasn’t long before that he was quite literally emotionally manipulating his son to try to win Hope over. Steffy doesn’t want to go back to those days so Hope better tread carefully.
