Ever since the truth about Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) setting up of Brooke with Child Protective Services came out, he’s been in the dog house with just about everyone. Hope (Annika Noelle) went from being his biggest fan to seeing red. How could he betray her trust, ruin her mom’s life, and use their son to do it? Enough was enough for her.

Bold and Beautiful: Another Perspective

Unfortunately, outright cutting ties isn’t exactly ideal. Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) needs both his parents, and he still loves his daddy. He knows what Thomas did was wrong, but does that mean he shouldn’t see him ever again?

Will Douglas be the unexpected advocate who asks Hope to ease up on Thomas? It seems likely. Kids do say the darnedest things, and Douglas is almost always the most rational one in the room. He sees things through his innocent eyes and strongly believes everyone can change their bad ways.

If Douglas wants to see his dad, will Hope let him? In an ideal world, sure. But, Hope knows the damage Thomas has already done to their son and may want to at least set up some strong boundaries before letting him around the boy.

B&B Spoilers: Can Thomas Be Redeemed?

Thomas has a lot to prove. He did some very bad things and hurt a lot of people. If he wants a shot at redemption, he’s going to have to work harder than ever to show he can change — and actually make the change. Let’s face it, being a good guy just doesn’t come naturally to this man.
