It begins with Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) saying into the camera what’s coming up next on the show. “This isn’t right. Dad wouldn’t want this,” says Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) as they look at Eric (John McCook) hooked up to machines in a hospital bed. Steffy is also by his side saying, “Oh Granddad I love you” as she tearfully kisses his hand.
“It’s an experimental procedure,” reveals Finn (Tanner Novlan). (Was this what he’s been working on so feverishly that he missed Eric’s party) “There are numerous risks involved. I believe this could make a change in Eric,” he tells a shocked Donna (Jennifer Gareis), with Steffy by his side. “But I don’t want you using my dad as some human experiment,” says Ridge. “I don’t want him to suffer.”
“You’re just going to stand there and play God and dictate whether your father lives or dies,” asks an incensed Donna. “I want him to leave this earth with some dignity,” insists Ridge. See it all for yourself in the video promo below.
