Deacon and Sheila Carter face a lot of naysayers.

The action opens with a playful Deacon (Sean Kanan) grabbing Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) into his arms. But, all fun and games quickly stop and it’s big questions instead. “How could you possibly have feelings for Sheila,” asks an incredulous Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) as an equally perplexed Ridge (Thorsten Kay) looks on.
“She’s changed now,” Deacon insists, pointing his finger to bring it home as Sheila looks on with love. “You do know she’s incapable of that, right?” asks Ridge, stifling a laugh. Ridge should know since he’s never been able to change his own waffling ways.
“What are you doing to do when Deacon’s done with you, Sheila, and kicks you to the curb like everyone else,” asks Li (Naomi Matsuda), hoping to needle a pressure point with the naughty nurse. But there’s more. Even Hope (Annika Noelle) takes a verbal swing. “She’s using you. I want you to put an end to this with her,” she begs as Deacon looks stricken.
