B&B Spoilers Speculation: Eric’s Truth Will Devastate Ridge

Right now, B&B spoilers have been full of Eric keeping his deadly diagnosis a secret from his family, suffering in silence with just RJ and Donna — okay, Katie now too — in the know. Since this is a soap, we know that one day, Ridge will find out the truth. He could have many reactions, but this is the one we predict will come to pass.

There is a small chance that when Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) finds out that his father kept this huge secret from him, he’ll be angry. Ridge doesn’t like when he’s not in the know, and let’s face it — he could be upset he was robbed of what little time there is left with Eric (John McCook) that he wasted feeling in competition with him rather than supporting him.

RJ Forrester: In the Know

It will be an even rougher blow for Ridge when he finds out RJ (Joshua Hoffman) knew and kept it from him. Sure, it was Eric’s request, but RJ knows how much his dad loves and admires his grandfather. He knows Ridge would have done anything to help make his father’s grand finale line the best it could be and wouldn’t have fought him every step of the way had he known. RJ did know. And the fact he didn’t spill could have Ridge furious with his and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) son.

B&B Spoilers: Complete Heartbreak

Those are both possible outcomes, but the most likely one has to be that Ridge will simply be heartbroken. This is his father, after all. How could he keep something so important from him? It all boils down to the fact that they are family and love each other — nothing else matters. Ridge will regret so much and only want what’s best for his dad moving forward.
