B&B spoilers indicate that Deacon is playing with fire in terms of his future relationships. His old pal Evan Scott, a judge, helped spring Sheila from prison. If his feelings for Sheila become known, Deacon’s world will be blown up faster than the old Spectra Fashions building went boom!
Deacon (Sean Kanan) must really love Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) because he enlisted the aid of Evan (Michael Corbett), now a judge, to help get her sprung from charges that should have sent her to jail for the rest of her life. Forget about shooting Finn and Steffy, Sheila sent Dr. Jay Garvin (Brett Stimely) to his death off a balcony, and poor Lance (Adam Huss) died of deadly bee stings.
It’s possible that even if it does come out that Deacon nudged Evan into getting Sheila off, he’ll escape everyone’s wrath. Deacon only suggested to Evan that he let Sheila go. The judge pointed out that Sheila had the law on her side (this time). Still, Deacon paved the way. He may have to give out free drinks at Il Giardino to the Forresters forever if they get mad at him. And if Hope can forgive Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) for lying about Beth being alive, then she can forgive Deacon for giving Sheila a get-out-of-jail card.
It’s quite possible that Deacon can make all this work. After all, Deacon and Evan really aren’t the reasons that Sheila walked this time. Bill (Don Diamont) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) are! If they hadn’t come up with a cockamamy plan to nail Sheila on crimes she committed decades ago — rather than just have Finn (Tanner Novlan), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Li (Naomi Matisuda) tell what she did to them more recently, Sheila would be making license plates right now.
Oh, come on! This is a soap opera. Deacon made his choice, and he’s going to have to stand by it. Thomas, Ridge, and Bill are all getting passes on their actions. Anyone who dislikes Deacon will use this latest stunt he’s pulled against him. The only good news is he’s done something finally more despicable than making love to Bridget after putting a phone receiver into a glass of water, which somehow muffled the cries of frustration from her family members who were listening on speaker phone. But they had no problem hearing her!
