Did Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) really get off on a technicality, or is there more to the story? Judge Evan Scott (Michael Corbett) resurfaces, and he’s hiding something rather dark and shady. It seems Deacon (Sean Kanan) pulled in a favor!
Low-down-dirty Sheila always seems to have friends who have friends in high places. Well, more like frenemies who know people who can get things done. It seems the judge is one of them. Deacon and him go back a long-time, but what does Deacon know that pushed him to set Sheila free?
What exactly is he hiding? Is there something he doesn’t want the public to know? If Deacon is lording a shameful secret over his head, who knows how far he will go to suppress the truth?
Outside of that drama, Hope (Annika Noelle) struggles with what Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) really means to her. He adores her. Nay, he loves her. While her heart isn’t with him yet, should she try to give him the key to unlock it?
Hope has steadily maintained she wants a man who is devoted only to her. Thomas certainly has that covered. He fell for her as soon as he arrived back in Los Angeles from New York. If she gives him a chance, he’ll do whatever it takes to make sure she never regrets it.
