Eric (John McCook) has spent weeks doing all he can to keep his illness and diagnosis a secret. Of course, it quickly became the worst-kept secret in town. Nearly his entire group of friends and family are in the know…even if no one is talking to him about it. Well, that may change when Eric has an episode at work. 

Will Eric Admit The Truth?

Will this finally open the lines of communication between Eric and his loved ones? He can’t continue pretending all is well when it clearly isn’t. It may be time for some open and honest conversations. 

Eric needs love, understanding, and support now more than ever. More than anything, the people in his life want to be by his side and show him all their love. This spell could be a blessing in disguise that brings everyone together for the greater good.

A Whole Lot Of Heartbreak

As it stands, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and RJ (Joshua Hoffman) are each struggling with the reality of Eric’s impending demise. Ridge is overwhelmed knowing his father is fighting a losing battle, and the guilt over not being able to truly be there for him is daunting. 

For RJ, it’s not just watching his grandpa failing. It’s about the lies and secrecy that he’s had to engage in along the way. This poor young man is doing his best to honor Eric’s wishes, but he’s suffering in silence.
