Soap Star Rena Sofer Experiences A Heartbreaking Loss

On-screen, The Bold And The Beautiful character Quinn Fuller Forrester is tough as nails. (Just ask Sheila Carter). But off-screen, Quinn’s portrayer is all-too-human and can be touched greatly by lows in life. Recently, actress Rena Sofer shared a painful experience with her social media followers.

Sofer’s beloved dog, Iggy, a Brussels Griffon, passed away just shy of his 17th birthday. “He was so incredibly loved and will be forever missed by those that loved him the most,” Sofer posted. “We want to believe that he is sitting on my father’s lap next to his beloved Lola in heaven. Iggy my boy. We love you.”

Sofer’s soap pals have weighed in on her page with condolences. “I’m so sorry Rena,” Courtney Hope (Sally) posted, “sending you lots of love! I know how much you loved him!”

“Rena I’m so sorry,” posted Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, The Young And The Restless). “I know this pain all too well. What a great life he had. Sending so much love.”
