In households, YR came in first with a 2.24 rating. BB was second among soaps with a 1.88. GH earned a 1.53 for third place. DAYS was in fourth place with a 1.23. Each rating point is equal to 1.210 million viewers. That means YR had 2.71 million viewers. BB had 2.27 million viewers. GH had 1.85 million viewers. DAYS had 1.49 million viewers.
In the coveted Women 18-49 demographic, which advertisers pay close attention to, YR was first with a .41. BB was in second place with a .35. DAYS was in third place with a .34. GH was in fourth with a .33.
What stories were drawing viewers to their screens last week? Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) squared off against each other over Amanda’s origins. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) suffered a stroke. Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King) planned a trip to Los Angeles to get the scoop on Sally (Courtney Hope).
Speaking of L.A., BB viewers witnessed sisterly angst between Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and Paris (Diamond White) over Paris taking a job with the Forrester organization. Liam (Scott Clifton) broke the news to Hope (Annika Noelle) that after he thought she had been unfaithful to him with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), he went ahead and slept with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
On GH, Lesley (Denise Alexander) stopped Cyrus (Jeff Kober) from accosting Laura (Genie Francis). Cyrus let Lesley know that his father was Gordon Gray — the man with whom Lesley once had an affair, resulting in Laura’s conception. Carly (Laura Wright) arranged for Florence, Cyrus’s mom, to be abducted, hoping to gain leverage against him.
Meanwhile, on DAYS, Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani’s (Sal Stowers) newborn twins, Julia and Carver, were kidnapped! Also, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and John (Drake Hogestyn) discovered that Ava (Tamara Braun) had had another son, supporting Steve’s theory that Tripp (Lucas Adams) has a sibling (Charlie, played by Mike Manning) and he is responsible for raping Allie (Lindsay Arnold).
