The week of December 21, 2020

Days of Our Lives

Big returns over Days of Our Lives. Chandler Massey brings Will Horton home for the holidays on Tuesday, December 22. The same day, Alison Sweeney pops back in as Sami Brady DiMera, albeit via a phone call.

Victoria Konefal makes an appearance as the Ciara Brady Weston on Wednesday, December 23, when she appears to Robert Scott Wilson’s Ben in a vision.

Vanessa A. Williams is back as Valerie Grant on Thursday, December 24, just in time for the birth of Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani’s (Sal Stowers) twins.

Linda Dano (ex-Felicia, Another World) is set to take on the role of Vivian Alamain. Look for her version of the character, originated by Louise Sorel in 1992, to begin airing in early 2021.

Bryan R. Dattilo has been put back on contract as Lucas Horton. The move comes as a new storyline kicks off involving Lucas, Sami, and their daughter Allie (Lindsay Arnold).

General Hospital

Two actors have exited General Hospital. William deVry wrapped up his long run as Julian Jerome when the character met his demise courtesy of a bullet wound and a broken bridge. He debuted in the role back in 2013.

Ian Buchanan and Megan Ward were on hand to help usher deVry out, reprising their roles as the late Duke Lavery and the late Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri.

Christopher Cousins was also killed off as Dr. Kirk, Dante’s former physician at the WSB facility in Geneva.

The Young and the Restless

Over at The Young and the Restless Ptoshi Storey debuts as Naya Benedict, Amanda’s (Mishael Morgan) birth mother, on Thursday, December 24. Storey’s previously appeared on The Oval and Empire.

Meanwhile, Leigh-Ann Rose premieres as Imani Benedict on Thursday, December 24. The actress’ credits include roles on Younger and Love Thy Neighbor.

Donny Boaz is back as Chance Chancellor, after a short medical leave due to testing positive for the coronavirus. He was temporarily replaced by Michael Gaston, the real-life husband of Melissa Ordway, who plays Abby.

Sophie Pollono made a surprise appearance as the late Delia Abbott in dream sequences with Jason Thompson’s Billy. Pollono played Delia from 2011 to 2013, when the character was killed off.
