On The Bold and the Beautiful, March 25, RJ and Electra discussed their past flames during dinner. Electra asked RJ if he had ever fallen in love, but he said he never did. He tried to play it cool with Electra, but his plan failed by forgetting to mention one great detail.

Key Takeaways

  • Electra and RJ had a romantic dinner date, set up by Ivy.
  • The two discussed their past love lives.
  • RJ fails to mention his past with Luna.

RJ Tries to Be Smooth

Electra (Laneya Grace) and RJ (Brayan Nicoletti) have dinner at the Forrester mansion. She wanted to know why RJ wasn’t into the other women who work at Forrester Creations. She reminded him that she still wasn’t over Will (Crew Morrow), and doesn’t know when she will be.

The conversation shifted to their former love lives. Electra continued to talk about Will and everything they shared. But she also wanted to know about RJ’s past. She asked him if he’d ever been in love, and he admitted he hadn’t.

RJ failed to mention his past relationship with Luna (Lisa Yamada). It would’ve been nice for him to finally admit that he was in love with someone who wasn’t what she claimed to be. This would’ve been the perfect opportunity for the new RJ to give a different perspective on that relationship.

Then, Electra and RJ could’ve bonded over the trauma that Luna caused in both of their lives, similar to how Will and Dylan (Sydney Bullock) bonded over Luna before. But RJ was too focused on impressing Electra. Even though he seemingly has forgotten about Luna, the viewers never will.

What Happened With RJ and Luna?

Before RJ became obsessed with Electra, he was head over heels for Luna. He fell in love with her when she worked as an intern at Forrester Creations. At the time, Luna was a seemingly impressionable and innocent young woman.

Their relationship quickly ended after Luna spiraled into a major villain who was responsible for multiple murders, kidnappings, and crimes. She was revealed as the person who murdered Tom Starr (Howard Clint) and Hollis (Hollis Chambers).

She also kidnapped Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), locking her in a cage and leaving her for dead during an apartment demolition. RJ couldn’t deal with the truth of realizing the love of his life was a convicted killer.

Joshua Hoffman left the show without an onscreen explanation. In early 2026, the show reintroduced RJ, now played by Nicoletti. It seems as if they erased his past with Luna as well. But will RJ’s smooth moves eventually work on Electra, or will they backfire?
