Edwards was born on December 1 in Harford County, Maryland. She was raised by a single mother with her two sisters and she started performing at a very young age. Not only did she act, but she also danced and sang.

Edwards has also appeared in films such as Explicit Ills (though her role went uncredited), 35 and Ticking, and Hell Fest. She was also in the 2010 short film, Thicker Than Water.
