On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Thomas Forrester makes a calculated move to undermine Brooke and Taylor’s friendship.
In addition, Bill (Don Diamont) and Liam (Scott Clifton) caught up and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) pried into her daughter’s personal business. Yes, again. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) reiterated his gratitude for Hope (Annika Noelle) and her ability to forgive him his innumerable trespasses. Hope, in turn, reiterated how it was Thomas who proved that he was capable of change and that it was Thomas who’d helped change her mind about him.
Opposite the love fest, Taylor (Krista Allen) declared that things were looking decidedly up for the Logans and Forresters. After all, “ole nine toes” is in jail, Hope and Thomas are making beautiful designs together, and she and Brooke are the best of friends.

Brooke agreed that they all did have a lot to be grateful for — she just hopes it stays that way [a pointed comment if there ever was one].
When business necessitated Taylor taking her leave, Brooke sauntered across the hall for a word with Hope and found *gasp* Hope and Thomas laughing, joking, and clearly vibing.
Thomas wisely made himself scarce when Brooke made her presence known, and it was he whom Taylor came upon once her call wrapped.
During their convo, Thomas let slip [yea right] that there had been an issue earlier in the day but that it was no big deal. When Taylor required further explanation, Thomas offered it, but not before grousing that he couldn’t believe Brooke hadn’t filled her in. Neither could Taylor.
“So Hope threw you under the bus for Brooke’s sake? Wow…my friend. You know, early she had every opportunity to tell me what was going on, and she didn’t.”
Over at Spencer Publications, Liam readied for an onslaught of complaints from Bill as to his and Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) handling of operations as of late but was pleasantly surprised when his pops proffered thanks and the praise that they’d both done phenomenal jobs.
As has become rote, the convo was steered to Liam’s concerns over Thomas, prompting Bill to quip that it’s too bad Liam can’t record Hope and Thomas’s every interaction the way he did with Sheila.
Bill then floated the idea that perhaps Hope was shielding Liam from Thomas’s deceitful behavior in fear of rocking the boat, but Liam didn’t see that happening. No, she would say if Thomas tried anything underhanded. He just knows it.
Bill was pleased to hear that, but he nevertheless cautioned Liam against taking his and Hope’s relationship for granted — especially now that Thomas was back in the picture.
Liam thanked Bill for his concern, then suggested that maybe he was projecting just a bit. With that in mind, how’s it going with Katie (Heather Tom)?
Bill offered that Katie was probably with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) as they spoke, then relayed his belief that she’d one day return to him because Carter was the safe, sensible choice, and deep down, Katie didn’t want that. Liam playfully teased that that made his dad the “not sensible choice,” and Bill doubled down.
Back at FC, Hope explained to Brooke that Thomas had overheard her excoriation of him, and Brooke was left with two questions… 1) Did he also hear her admit to having feelings for him? And, 2) Is Hope absolutely sure that Thomas’s feelings were hurt or did he just want her to think that [which might be two questions in one, but why quibble?]?
Hope insisted that she was sure. Brooke argued that she was wrong. “All of this sounds like a manipulation to me. It’s like the same old Thomas. Liam was right. He’s just using this to get close to you.”
Hope again insisted that wasn’t the case. Brooke argued that her daughter couldn’t be sure.
