In today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap, Thomas decided to go with the flow when presented with the chance to get jiggy with Hope.
In addition, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) continued to lie by omission while Liam (Scott Clifton) continued to sulk. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
At Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson), Hope (Annika Noelle) bemoaned her current predicament. Her world is upside down, her husband wants a divorce, and her mind’s a mess.
Thomas attempted to shoulder some of the blame, but Hope wouldn’t hear of it. She’s the one who kissed him. What’s more, she wanted to kiss him. She wanted to be close to him. She’d been fighting those feelings for so long now and despite not knowing why — or being particularly proud of herself — she finally gave in. Maybe there is something to Liam’s parting shot. Maybe there is something wrong with her.

Thomas wouldn’t let that stand. He declared Hope one of the most wonderful, loving, and committed people that he’s ever known. Unfortunately, in light of recent events, Hope’s not feeling so wonderful, loving, or committed. She went and destroyed her marriage and her family, and for what?
But, the more she pondered, the closer she came to a realization. Finally, she had a solid reason for her actions: she’d always felt second best to Steffy, whom Liam has always leaned on when times got tough; but she doesn’t feel second best when she’s with Thomas. Oh no.
Thomas makes her feel like the only woman in the world. Thomas makes her feel good. Oh so good. And seeing as how Liam wants Steffy so badly, Hope will take Thomas — the only man who wants only her.
Meanwhile, at the cliff house, Finn (Tanner Novlan) was pleasantly surprised to hear that Thomas had attempted to take all the heat when Steffy confronted him about his and Hope’s smooch; Steffy too. She can tell that her brother’s really turned a corner considering how willing he was to sacrifice himself to save Hope’s honor. Then again, this could be a sign of just how deep Thomas’s feelings are for Hope. Oh yes, it’s apparent that Thomas’s feelings for Hope and hers for him are mutual.
Finn praised Steffy for her depth of caring and for standing up for people and for having principles. He’s just so grateful that he gets to come home to her every day. What a wonderful wife she is. How he missed her while she was in Rome.
Try as he might, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) couldn’t sway Liam from his position. He wanted a divorce from Hope and that was final. Also, he’ll never, ever be able to forgive her for what she did. What’s more, he’ll never be able to forgive her for being unable to just admit that she has feelings for Thomas. [Oh, if he only knew!]
