On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Li Finnegan decided to fail in her duties as a M.D. Still, worth it for the peace of mind!
In addition, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) summoned his beloved — and a few not so — ones to his father’s house — how classy of him — and intrigued them with what he had to say. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
While paramedics tended to Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), Bill (Don Diamont), Ridge, and Deacon (Sean Kanan) took their leave and retreated back to the bar. Ridge and Bill — get this — heaped praise on Deacon for his assistance in capturing Sheila, and assured him that they’d keep mum about his previous association with the villainess. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope (Annika Noelle) will remain none the wiser.

Opposite this, Sheila’s condition was diagnosed — the heart attack was real enough — and she was rushed to the nearest hospital…which just so happened to be staffed with her biological son and one of her most hated foes, the woman who reared the aforementioned son. What are the odds? [No, really, what are the odds? And the fact that they both just so happened to be scheduled to work that night?!]
Li (Naomi Matsuda) was horrified to see who her perspective patient was, but she powered through like a champion…until she didn’t. By the time Nurse Tina sought out Finn (Tanner Novlan) — and interrupted his public canoodling with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) — Li had halted all efforts to assist Sheila and was merely standing around watching her vitals plummet. When Finn made note of her act, Li suggested: “Let her die. Let Sheila Carter die.”
At Ridge’s request, Eric (John McCook) gathered Brooke, Taylor (Krista Allen), Stephen (Patrick Duffy), Lucy (Linda Purl), Katie (Heather Tom), and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) at his and Donna’s (Jennifer Gareis) palatial abode. The air was thick with anticipation and tension.
Conveniently forgetting that he’d abandoned his own family for years on end, Stephen launched into a diatribe about Ridge’s conspicuous absence during this most trying of times for his family that no one, least of all Brooke and Taylor, seemed to appreciate.
When Ridge finally deemed to put in an appearance, all eyes were on him, and they were all suspicious. Taylor wondered if she and Brooke were the reason for the meeting, and Ridge revealed they were a good part of it. That set Stephen off yet again.
But the kicker was seeing Bill waltz into the foyer. The assemblage quickly mobilized and launched verbal assaults against the man they deemed the reason for their lost sense of security.
Ridge stepped between Bill and the barrage and revealed to everyone that it was Bill whom they had to thank for permanently removing Sheila from their lives. Say what now?
