On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Ridge Forrester’s formerly estranged families came together for a group shot. It warmed Ridge’s heart and made him feel like the King of the World.
In addition, Liam (Scott Clifton) seriously considered that *gasp* he might be the problem, while Ridge Jr. and Thomas seemed to make amends. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
At the cliff house, despite earlier stating he didn’t want to talk the issue to death, Liam continued to grouse about Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) — this time, specifically about what it is that draws Hope to Thomas.
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) suggested work. No dice. Douglas then? No go. Assuming that she was grasping at straws, Steffy granted that surely Liam didn’t think that Hope had actual feelings for Thomas. Liam assured that he didn’t…maybe not. That would explain a Hell of a lot. And either way you slice it, there is something that continually brings the two back together.

Steffy chalked it up to Hope always seeing the good in everyone in spite of their sins, and that really got Liam’s wheels spinning. Maybe he’s underestimated, Hope. After all, she’s put up with him all these years. She puts up with how much he still cares for Steffy, their history, the family that they share.
“Maybe Hope really is that just that generous, and I can’t see it because…I’m not.”
Off that self-realization, Steffy bid Liam adieu — she’s got to go to work. But she did want him to know that she’s sure, really sure that he doesn’t have anything to worry about as far as Thomas and Hope are concerned.
Speaking of Thomas and Hope…the two were busy joining in the chorus of “Welcome Back RJ.” At first, it appeared that Thomas had a mighty big problem with all the talk of RJ (Joshua Hoffman) joining the company fold, but he eventually conceded that if RJ ever did want a place at Forrester Creations, it was his to claim. That filled Ridge’s heart with pride and swelled his head.
Once Thomas and RJ privately made peace, and Steffy arrived and happily greeted the returned traveler and parroted the “come work with us” line, Ridge suggested a photo with both branches of his family, Hope included. All happily complied. What a day it was to be Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Having missed yet another meeting on the books, Liam was in the proverbial doghouse with Wyatt (Darin Brooks). Little brother wouldn’t even let him order an entree without first explaining, in detail, what had kept him from attending the business dinner that he’d been well aware of for months.
Wyatt was half hoping it had been an emergency. When Liam copped to getting caught up in complaining to Steffy about Thomas, Wyatt understood…to a point. Still, Liam needed to get himself together. They have quarterlies coming up!
