Eric (John McCook) confides his arthritis diagnosis to RJ (Joshua Hoffman) and enlists him to assist in bringing his designs to life…. Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) implores Liam (Scott Clifton) to give Hope (Annika Noelle) a second chance and warns him that he’ll regret throwing her away…. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) demands that Hope not return to Thomas…. Brooke, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) worry about Hope’s and Thomas’s mindsets…. Thomas makes an impassioned plea to Hope and pulls her into a passionate smooch.
Hope explains her position to Thomas. She’s not in love with him, but she’d appreciate him comforting her with his body. Thomas helpfully replies…. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) and Deacon (Sean Kanan) are forced to scramble when Ridge and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) stop by…. RJ serves as Eric’s hands.
Sheila and Deacon manage to hide her presence when Ridge and Carter barrel in and make threats…. Sheila endeavors to manifest her picture-perfect future…. Finn (Tanner Novlan) seems to be making serious inroads with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)…. RJ and Eric hit a momentary impasse leading the former to suggest the latter use technology to realize his designs.
Steffy agrees to return home to Finn…. Deacon tries and fails to temper Sheila’s expectations…. Ridge and Eric pause to remember Stephanie.
Ridge and Liam agree that Steffy returning to Finn is a foolish exercise…. Despite his best efforts, Deacon fails to keep Sheila from stalking off to see Finn. Sheila’s arrival at the Cliff House coincides with Steffy and Finn getting intimate. Steffy catches sight of her mother-in-law and lets out a scream.
