The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for June 26 – June 30, 2023, featured lies of omission, hurt feelings, a relationship in tatters, and one on the brink.
Hope (Annika Noelle) insists to Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) that what happened in Rome should be left in Rome…Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hints to Hope and Thomas that she knows of their illicit smooch but neither one takes notice…As a favor to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Andrea Bocelli serenades her and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye)… Liam (Scott Clifton) tells Wyatt (Darin Brooks) what he witnessed while in Italy.
Eric (John McCook), Donna (Jennifer Gareis), and R.J. (Joshua Hoffman) welcome Brooke home. She gleefully announces that she and Ridge are back together. All rejoice. R.J. gives consideration to Taylor (Krista Allen)… Ridge relays to Taylor that he and Brooke have reunited.
Steffy fills Finn (Tanner Novlan) in on the goings on in Rome [making sure to keep mum about her and Liam’s lip lock]… Hope returns home to a less-than-welcoming Liam. She catches sight of his luggage and tag and wonders if he traveled to Rome. He reveals that he most certainly did.
Steffy and an indignant Finn continue to discuss Hope and Thomas’s buss and debate whether or not Hope and Liam’s marriage can survive the betrayal… R.J. and Brooke celebrate her good fortune…Taylor blasts Ridge for following his heart… Liam turns up the heat on Hope who’s forced to confess her indiscretion.
In response to Liam’s lightning into her, Hope pointedly points out his own past sins and begs him to forgive us just as she’s forgiven him… Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) basks in congratulations from his sons and opines that Brooke and Taylor’s feud is alive and well. Opposite this, Brooke and Taylor seemingly bury the hatchet.
Despite her guilty conscience, Steffy continued to keep secret her kiss with Liam… Liam asked for a divorce and took his leave of Hope. Later, he made his way to the Cliff House and put the moves on Steffy… Hope confides her woes in R.J.
