Li and Bill
The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for January 16 – January 20, 2023, featured several attempts to make a besotted man see sense.
Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is incredulous when Finn (Tanner Novlan) explains that Bill (Don Diamont) blackmailed him and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) into refusing to testify against Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) at her preliminary hearing. Katie is further blindsided by Finn’s revelation that Bill and Sheila are a bona fide item.
Steffy and Taylor (Krista Allen) listen in horror as Sheila and Bill wax lyrical about one another. Sheila begs the ladies to cease and desist with their efforts to turn Bill against her. Taylor threatens to go to the authorities and confess to shooting Bill all those years previous thus breaking Bill’s hold over Steffy and Liam…Katie makes a beeline for Bill’s abode and implores him to force Sheila out of his life.
Katie’s pleas fall on unswayed ears. At Sheila’s suggestion, Bill shows Katie the door. Sheila thanks Bill for the loyalty that he has shown…Finn and Steffy filled Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) in on recent goings-on.
Katie discusses her stymied efforts with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Carter promises to be there — really be there — for Katie and her son…Bill ruminates on his past exploits…Bill and Sheila make love.
Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) rues Sheila’s status as a free woman and resolves to speak out against her to the authorities. Steffy and Finn warn her that Bill will retaliate by having her medical license revoked and sending her to jail for faking Finn’s death.
Steffy vows to see to it that Sheila pays for her crimes…Liam and Wyatt try and fail to convince Bill to finish with Sheila.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) accepts Liam’s request that she speak with Bill…Liam and Hope reflect on the night that Taylor crept into Bill’s abode and shot him in the back. Liam recalls how he assumed he was the assailant owning to a concussion he had suffered earlier in the day…Bill is seemingly brought around to Brooke’s way of thinking — much to Sheila’s consternation.
