The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for November 21 – November 25, 2022, saw a black cloud hovering over a white — or off-white as the case may be — wedding. The bride has certainly been down the aisle a time or four.
After helping Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) apply some finishing touches, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) accepted the task of cajoling Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) into joining the festivities. The distraught boy took Steffy into his confidence by playing her the recording Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) dummied in order to sow seeds of discontent between Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Elsewhere, Eric Forrester (John McCook) beseeched Ridge to make doubly sure he was doing the right thing. Ridge assured Eric that he was, but his discontent was obvious… Brooke disabused Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) of the notion that she’d ever reunite him. She was a one-man woman, and that man was Ridge. And besides, isn’t Bill’s great love supposed to be her sister, Katie Logan (Heather Tom)? As if on cue, Katie entered the scene and with Brooke having taken her leave, Bill launched into a persuasive argument as to why he and Katie should reunite. And all the while Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) eavesdropped.
Katie put Bill on notice: she wasn’t interested in being a man’s second choice. She deserves better, and she damn well knows it. Afterward, Carter confronts Bill and blasts him for stringing the sisters along. An indignant Bill warns Carter away from Katie, but Carter is hardly cowed. Katie, who’s been privy to the exchange is impressed by Carter’s defense of her.
Steffy rails against Thomas for his actions; he insists that he’s in the right. Taylor referees the two and Steffy declares that her mother must know the truth… Douglas’s obvious agitation worries those gathered to witness Ridge and Taylor marry.
Stephen Logan (Patrick Duffy) is back in the City of Angels, and his daughters are thrilled by both the visit he pays and the opportunity to get to know Lucy (special guest star Linda Purl), his lady love. Brooke confides her woes and her opinion that Thomas is somehow responsible.
The assemblage at the Forrester manse anxiously awaits Thomas, Steffy, and Taylor’s appearance. Taylor is apprised of Thomas’s subterfuge. Steffy and Thomas take contentious positions: she pulls for Taylor to fill Ridge in on what she’s learned, while Thomas argues that Ridge doesn’t have to be any the wiser. Despite herself, when the Wedding March is cued, Taylor descends the stairs and makes her way down the aisle. All eyes are upon her as she begins to speak…
