Ridge and Deacon's holiday celebrations weren't in the least bit similar.
In this retro The Bold and the Beautiful recap, it’s Wednesday, November 24, 2021, and the focus is on two very different Thanksgiving dinners. Ridge Forrester was all about living his best life while Deacon Sharpe dreamed of better days.
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) were the hosts with the most this year for Thanksgiving. The couple opened their home to their children, family, and friends. Ridge took over all the traditions and gave thanks for each person in the room.
After helping the grandchildren settle in with Amelia (because why should she have a holiday with her own family? Perhaps THIS is why she resigns two years later?), Ridge showed his gratitude for everyone in attendance. He made several speeches highlighting everyone’s trials and triumphs before toasting his wife. He was one lucky man, indeed.
Once Ridge was done, the food came out, turkey hats were donned, and the catered dining commenced. The crowd was all smiles while digging in and enjoying their time together.
Back in Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) hotel room, she and Deacon (Sean Kanan) drowned their sorrows in mini-bar bottles and dreamed of better days. Sheila was positive they would be welcomed with open arms one of these days. The families couldn’t hate them forever, right? (WRONG!)
Deacon drank his shots and fantasized about being by Hope’s (Annika Noelle) side and getting on with Liam (Scott Clifton) and the rest of the family. He even envisioned Ridge and Brooke apologizing for shunning him because he was truly a changed man.
