On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Taylor Hayes does her utmost to get her battling brood on the same page.
In addition, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) broke Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) heart, and Bill (Don Diamont) refused to address his sons’ concerns. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Given the very real struggle that is being a boss lady and raising three children almost singlehandedly — minus the work put in by Ameilia and any and all effort put forth by father extraordinaire Finn (Tanner Novlan) — the last thing that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) needed/wanted was Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) in her home and in her face…but Taylor (Krista Allen) didn’t much care.
Mama bear had long ago — at least seven days in real time — asked the two to dig deep and find the love and heal the rift between them, and they’d failed to do so. Taylor intended to rectify that — whether they liked it or not. And Steffy did not like it. Not one little bit.

Thomas went first. Apparently, he’s really been working on himself. He’s found a psychiatrist — one who isn’t his own mother — and they’ve really been helping him see the error of his ways. Also, he’s determined to do better for Douglas’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) sake. It really hurt him that his efforts to manipulate the situation to his advantage backfired. *Clear throat* What he meant was that he misses Douglas and wants to become a better father for him. He’s trying. He’s really trying.
Steffy…does not seem convinced. Then again, she’s already lost a sister — R.I.P. OG Phoebe — and despite everything that he had done, she doesn’t want to lose her brother…even if it’s going to take A LOT for her to fully forgive and finally trust him completely. But as for that second — third? fourth? — chance that Thomas’s angling for? It’s his.
Taylor is more than delighted. Oh, how it feeds her heart to see her kids making up. That’s the Forrester way. They’re stronger together than apart. Oh, what a joyous day!
Sheila has bad news for her former paramour Deacon: she can’t make the grand reopening of his restaurant. And it’s not that she doesn’t want to, quite the opposite, actually. It’s just…well, it’s the Bill of it all.
Despite the pull that she feels towards Deacon, she does love Bill…with all her heart. And it’s Bill whom she’s going to be sticking with. But at least she and Deacon will always have their memories of one another…and the naughty nights that they spent together.
I’ve never met a woman quite like you, Deacon managed. Thanks, lover boy, Sheila offered. After sharing a longing embrace, the two part for what very well may be the final time.
The brothers Spencer were on a mission: wake their father up to the monster that is Sheila Carter. Their efforts were all for naught. Bill loves Sheila, and Sheila loves him, and that’s just the way that things are going to be. Why can’t his boys be happy for him? Huh? Be happy that he’s finally found a woman who can accept him for he is, considerable faults and all?
Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Liam (Scott Clifton) didn’t have answers. Just warnings. Lots and lots of warnings. Warnings that went unheeded.
