Hope Logan,
On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Hope Logan and Thomas took in the sights of Rome, and she rested her hand on *GASP* his arm. Lo scandalo! (FYI: that’s Italian for the scandal.)
In addition, Liam (Scott Clifton) allowed RJ (Joshua Hoffman) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) to talk him into chasing after his wife. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
On the Forrester jet, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) heaped lavish praise onto Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) for scoring them an iconic backdrop for the fashion preview. The showing will undoubtedly be wildly successful, and it will be largely thanks to him.
In fact, Hope is sure that were it not for Carter and Thomas — her fearless designer — they wouldn’t have been able to pull this all together. Hope waxed poetic about Thomas’s prowess while Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) sat glaring in their opposite corners.

Soon the contingent had arrived at their destination. After shucking their duds for even finer threads they set off for the villa that will serve as headquarters for the next week.
After settling and taking in the majesty that is their surroundings, factions formed, and off they scurried. Thomas and Hope took to higher ground, but that didn’t stop Steffy from spying on the two and noticing how close they seemed, much to her chagrin. Then, horror of horrors, Hope laid her hand on Thomas’s arm. What will Liam say?!
Speaking of Liam, he, RJ, and Finn wiled away an evening exercising at the makeshift gym on the roof of Forrester Creations. RJ proved to be a hot commodity, but apparently, only Liam and Finn were aware. Poor, innocent RJ.
As has become rote, Liam began grousing about Thomas accompanying Hope on the jaunt to Rome and how he’ll never be truly convinced that Thomas has changed — despite RJ and Finn being inclined to do so. Both men floated the idea of Liam following Hope to Italy if he was so bothered, but Liam blanched. He didn’t want to come off as a creepy, jealous husband who was keeping tabs on his wife.
Finn, in turn, suggested that Liam surprise Hope by going to Rome, not as a creepy, jealous husband but as a romantic gesture — one that would be sure to score him major brownie points. It was kind of a no-brainer, really.
Back in Rome, Brooke teased/threatened Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that he was going to be unable to escape the magic that is the “City of Eternal Love,” whether he chose to believe in love and destiny or not. Carter, for his part, couldn’t help but agree.
