On today’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, Katie Logan ups the pressure placed on Bill to divest himself of villainous Sheila Carter. Sheila would be impressed if her future weren’t at stake.
Bold and Beautiful Recap Highlights
In addition to Katie’s mercenary tactics, there was Charlie (Dick Christie) showing an overly cocky Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) the door, and Hope (Annika Noelle) finally coming to her senses. FINALLY. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Katie Logan Infers Something Awfully Tasty
If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again — the motto that Katie apparently lives by. Though her previous pleas fell on deaf ears, the minute she learned that Bill (Don Diamont) was on his own, she was at her former home like a shot.
She started by once again pointing out the dangers of associating with the likes of Sheila. That didn’t sway Bill much. After all, Katie’s not around to see how wonderful and caring Sheila is to Bill when they’re alone.
That’s true. So, how about this: if Bill stays with Sheila, he’ll never again be a part of Will’s life. Period. He won’t be there when Will graduates high school and college. And he won’t be there for his son’s eventual wedding. And he certainly won’t be ANYWHERE near Will with Sheila in tow. Katie will not stand for that. And no, Sheila’s “loving” and “understanding” Bill isn’t enough to sway Katie from her stance.
And it’s not that Katie wants to be cruel. Far from it. Heaven forbid. She still loves Bill. She still cares for Bill. Heck, she’s even sorry that she couldn’t manage to devote herself to a man that could never love her fully because he had feelings for her sister. That’s Katie’s bad.
But the fact remains that Sheila is a poison that Katie will not allow her son to be around. Now, if things were to change, say, if Sheila were to go back to prison, well, that’s a different story. But how different of a story, Bill wonders. Would Katie take him back? If Sheila goes to prison, would Katie forgive him all? Would their family be reunited again? Bill wants to know. Bill needs to know. And so does an eavesdropping Sheila.
B&B Recap: In Vogue
Just so Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is clear, is Hope really prepared to welcome Thomas back to the company with open arms? Is she really prepared to put her fashion line above the feelings of her mother and husband? Is she really prepared to compromise her own values — which is exactly what she would be doing — just to save her line?
No, no she’s not, Hope finally realizes. What in the world was she thinking? Thank goodness Steffy was there to talk her back from the edge. Hope’s just in awe. Here’s Steffy giving her tough love when Steffy has more important things to worry about, namely Sheila. Steffy’s just a rockstar.
Thomas Forrester Is Persona Non Grata
A preening, puffed-up Thomas was soon brought down to Earth by Charlie’s arrival…and his insistence that Thomas hit the road. Wait, does Charlie know who Thomas is? Did he forget whose last name is on the building?
Yes, and no. To be clear, Charlie knows exactly who Thomas is, and they both know good and darn well that Ridge doesn’t want him on company property. So, Thomas can either get moving, or Charlie will move him. Well, Charlie and Ruth the rottweiler! Thomas smartly got moving. And all the while Paris (Diamond White) just watched.
