On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Sheila Carter told Deacon her truth…then ripped open his shirt and had her way with him!
In addition, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Taylor (Krista Allen) gushed about Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) seeming attempt to do better while Hope (Annika Noelle) hedged her bets. Elsewhere, Bill (Don Diamont) made it clear that he held Sheila’s future in his hands. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Though thrilled to see her, Deacon (Sean Kanan) was a bit flummoxed by Sheila’s sudden appearance at his door. Hadn’t she just told him that she couldn’t be in his life? Yes, yes she had. And it pained her greatly to do so.
Sheila’s had a think, and she’s decided that she has to have Deacon in her life. In fact, he’s the only man that she wants in her life.

But what about Bill, wondered Deacon. Oh, right, Bill, huffed Sheila. She and Bill look so good on paper. In theory, they’re tops. Sheila so appreciates that Bill actually cares about her feelings and wants to see her happy, and she’s thrilled that she can offer him something that no one else in his life can: unfettered understanding and forgiveness. But that’s just not enough. Not enough to base a whole relationship on.
No, a relationship has to have that certain…spark, and Sheila only feels that spark when she’s with Deacon. In fact, when Bill wants to make love, Sheila has to fantasize that it’s Deacon she’s with. This pleases Deacon to no end. And pleasing Deacon pleases Sheila. And soon, the two of them are wrapped up in each other’s arms. A most pleasing state indeed.
Over at Forrester Creations, an incredulous Hope pointedly reminds Steffy that she actually considered welcoming Thomas back aboard Hope For The Future weeks ago and that it was Steffy who talked her out of it.
That’s true, granted Steffy. But that was then, and this is now, and now you desperately need Thomas as your line’s lead designer.
With that, Steffy and Taylor take their leave of the estranged pair and head off to congratulate themselves for being such awesome kin to Thomas. Aren’t they just the best for putting their faith in his ability to do better — and not for the first time? They sure are. And isn’t it just swell of Thomas that he’s trying for the umpteenth time to be a good guy? It sure is.
Opposite this, Thomas begged Hope for another chance. He so wants to win back her trust and respect, and he’s convinced that he can do it.
Hope’s pretty convinced too. After all, Thomas has had success in the past, fooling her and the rest of his loved ones. But it’s different now, swore Thomas. This time he really, really means it. No more screw-ups. No more manipulations. From here on out, he’ll be a good man. Or, at the very least, he’ll be a man who does his best to be the best version of himself. Gag.
In a repeat of scenes that we’ve seen countless times before, Bill outright dismisses Liam’s (Scott Clifton) concerns about his involvement with Sheila and insists that all is well. He loves Sheila, and Sheila loves him. He understands Sheila, and Sheila understands him. And he’ll be good to Sheila as long as she’s good to him.
But one mistake, and he’ll see to it that Sheila pays and pays dearly. No one, and he means no one, will ever betray him ever again.
