On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Sheila Carter pulls a horror movie villain move. Good for her, bad for the heroes in pursuit.
In addition, Hope (Annika Noelle) tried to get to the bottom of what’s eating Deacon (Sean Kanan) and got nowhere. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Like Michael Myers before her, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was on the ground, beneath the balcony from which she tumbled one minute and gone the next. Much to Bill’s (Don Diamont), Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye), and Agent Chen’s (Brian Yang) chagrin, not only did Sheila hop up and get going, but she managed to get going in one of Bill’s fastest vehicles.

Bill gave chase while Ridge panicked, and Chen barked orders to the agents who should have been ready to storm the manse like he ordered two episodes ago.
With tears in her eyes and flashbacks to moments earlier replaying in her head, Sheila zoomed down the interstate with one goal in mind: reaching Deacon!
Meanwhile, as has become rote, Hope interrupted her dad’s remembrance of sexy times with Sheila gone by and wondered if there might be something going on with him. Keeping with established tradition, Deacon blamed his reverie on his new job and quickly changed the subject. How stoked is Hope that Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) is back living with her and Liam (Scott Clifton)? Super!
Hope half-joked about what a mess she’d been during the few weeks she’d been parted from her son and how she’ll be, years down the line when Douglas and Beth are grown and itching to move out.
Deacon cautioned his daughter about dwelling on the past. “It’s kind of like martial arts,” he explained, adding, “just focus on what’s right in front of you. You know, that way, you don’t miss anything else.”
The conversation then turned in Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) direction. How were things working out now that he’s back aboard Hope For The Future? Also, how can help be so sure that “Darth Thomas” won’t revert to his old bad ways?
Hope granted that all was well, doubled down on her belief in Thomas due to his backing up his words with actions, and reiterated that she’d made her position very clear. One backslide and he’s out of there, her line be damned.
Deacon wondered if Thomas was adding strain to Hope and Liam’s marriage, and she insisted that they weren’t allowing it to.
Sheila cropped up as the next talking point. Hope bemoaned, catching sight of her “waltzing around Beverly Hills as if she’s entitled to some normal life” and groused, “What if that isn’t even enough for her? What if she wants more? What if she wants that family? What if she goes after Finn and Steffy again? Tries something with Hayes?”
Deacon tried reassuring Hope that things would eventually work themselves out and suggested that they won’t have to worry about Sheila for much longer. Seconds later, Deacon received an SOS from Sheila herself.
After excusing himself, Deacon retired to his apartment, where Sheila joined him. She recapped recent goings on the betrayal of it all and even copped to Lance’s long-ago murder.
Deacon sidestepped the confession to out-and-out murder and inquired as to Sheila’s next move. She surprised him by issuing a plea for him to join her on the run!
