On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Hope Logan’s attempt to get Brooke off her back resulted in hurt feelings on Thomas’s part — and Hope Logan would rather cut off her own hand than hurt Thomas.
In addition, Liam (Scott Clifton) went hunting for “a vibe” while Wyatt (Darin Brooks) implored him to punch Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) in the face. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) spied quite the moment between Thomas and Hope (Annika Noelle), and she let the two know that she didn’t approve — ever so subtlety of course.
When Thomas wisely got moving to the office across the way, Brooke took the opportunity to voice some concerns to Hope, namely that she’s been noticing some tale tell signs that Hope and Thomas are getting a hair too close.

“It’s this closeness and connection that you have with Thomas. It is almost like you can speak without saying any words. It’s the way you look at him. I have to ask, again, is there something going on between you and Thomas?”
Hope insisted that there wasn’t. The only thing going on between the two of them was their co-parenting of Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) and their working partnership — which, by the way, she’s very grateful for because of the difference Thomas has made with the Hope For The Future line.
Brooke granted that Thomas was a talented designer, but she also pointedly reminded that he was a man who used to be obsessed with her. Hope argued that Thomas wasn’t that man anymore, and Brooke floated the idea that Thomas had just gotten better at his manipulations.
The contentious back and forth continued on and on and on until Hope hollered that Thomas wasn’t the problem, it was her and her feelings for him.
An incredulous Brooke pressed Hope. “You know what kind of person Thomas is”, prompting Hope to proffer that he’s “mentally unstable and manipulative” and that she wants “nothing to do with him,” and for those reasons, nothing can ever happen between them, and nothing ever will.
Unbeknownst to Hope, an eavesdropping, Thomas heard every single poisonous word, and they stung…especially in light of the conversation he’d just had with Liam. Well, by conversation, we mean Liam made it abundantly clear that he’d probably never ever be able to so much as give Thomas the benefit of the doubt, let alone believe that he’s a changed man.
By the time Hope looked up and realized her mistake, the damage seemed done, and her profuse apologies didn’t seem to do much good.
